I am a recently retired federal employee, having a total of almost 33 years of combined civilian and military service. My specialty was the negotiation, award and administration of federal contracts and grants. The federal government has proven to be a great employer. While employed, I lived within the Denver metro area. I currently reside with my wife in the Hawaiian Islands.

I am African-American and my spouse's ethnicity is "other" as she was adopted and I never could tell.  I earned a BA in History back in 1976, a topic that is a passion of mine, particularly American History. I am an avid fan of any book or film that deal with the concepts of space and/or time travel. As part of a career move, I almost completed an MBA during the late seventies, but didn't finish the program. Outside of my fascination with the stock market/investments and marketing, I was bored to tears with business administration.

This is the second half, where I now pursue my self-actualization and esteem needs. I am a devout political junkie, fascinated with the ideological divide and associated debate. I look forward to expanding on my desire to write and meet like minded people along the way.  People will find that I have a studied perspective and point of view on virtually everything. In the midst of this is my wife of 4 years, our 3 golden retrievers and white tabby cat.
